Before she joined the team at Mendelssohn Chorus, Elisabeth was the founder and director of the Cunningham Music School.Ĭhair – Charlotte E. Contact Flo at Photo by Yael PachinoĮlisabeth Galassini Oosthuizen holds an undergraduate degree in music from Temple University and is pursuing a Master’s of Science in Arts Administration from Drexel University. A mezzo-soprano and a former food truck owner, Flo holds a Bachelor of Music in education from Temple University and a Master of Science from Drexel University’s arts administration program. Prior to joining DataArts, she served as senior program associate at the Pew Center for Arts and Heritage.

Previously, she spent eight years in business development and fundraising at DataArts (formerly the Cultural Data Project) helping transform the organization from a program of the Pew Charitable Trusts to an independent 501(c)3. Flo came to Mendelssohn Chorus from the Nonprofit Finance Fund where she managed and improved the consulting team’s ability to document and gain business insights from the financial and program outcomes of their work. Flo Gardner joined Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia as Executive Director in December 2017 after spending three years on the board and over 10 years as a singer.
